Finally got the phone fixed. Seemed I was suffering from a serious of hardware failures leading to, well, a useless phone. Got some great help at the Genius Bar and we’re back up and running.
Been playing a lot lately with the new Brightkite application for the iPhone. Still working on learning how to use it, but it’s pretty sweet. Easy to use with options for a lot of interaction. Easily beats Loopt, in my opinion.
Just downloaded the Google Earth app as well. Played a little with it, but will have more to say about it after I test it on the go.
Now - how do I get all of these things to interact? Thats the question!
I’m happy that Apple updated the iPhone/iPod Touch application Remote. It would be even better if I could use it. Unfortunately, since updating to 2.0 (and the subsequent updates), I haven’t been able to use wifi very much. I’m not the only one:

It would be awesome if they (Apple) could fix their device (iPhone) to work with their software (Remote).
sigh.
I, like a thousand other wordpress users are probably doing the exact same thing right now. typing this entry with the wordpress iPhone app. not bad so far. good for the short quick entry. now to find a photo import feature…
and there it is. enjoy an image of my recent table building experience!

I previously wrote that Evernote was a pretty clean interface and generally happy with the app. But I have to agree with John Gruber (here). He’s absolutely right about the interface. While that first menu is nice, the rest sucks when you go to write something, and like I said - no editing of a message? Are you kidding me?
Obviously this and more need help. I’d hope Evernote would try and bring some of the same functional aspects of the online app, at the very least, to the iPhone app. Suffice to say, Evernote has moved to the questionable section of my apps. However, until we get a better note syncing method for the iPhone, perhaps this is the solution for now.
