Finally got the phone fixed. Seemed I was suffering from a serious of hardware failures leading to, well, a useless phone. Got some great help at the Genius Bar and we’re back up and running.
Been playing a lot lately with the new Brightkite application for the iPhone. Still working on learning how to use it, but it’s pretty sweet. Easy to use with options for a lot of interaction. Easily beats Loopt, in my opinion.
Just downloaded the Google Earth app as well. Played a little with it, but will have more to say about it after I test it on the go.
Now - how do I get all of these things to interact? Thats the question!

have you tried zhiing yet?
It is kinda like loopt and brightkite - without the social network. If you want to tell a friend where you are, you just send them a zhiing.
Good news is that zhiing works on all cell phones and all networks - so if some of your friends have a blackberry or do not have a smart phone, they can still get information about where you are at and get directions to you.
We hope to launch for the google android phone very soon - so soon we can taste it.
